Brand Introduction:

E&JOY is an exciting new fast-fashion brand that seeks to be unique. Our customer is the young Chinese woman – curious about fashion and a spontaneous shopper. She is young, fun and connected.
We offer a wide range of new styles every week; yet our prices never break the bank.
We’ve also equipped our stores with digital experiences that help her explore different versions of herself.

E&JOY (意恩嘉) IS FOR THE 18 – 28 Y.O. CHINESE WOMAN WORKING IN TIER 1 & 2 CITIES
Our shopper is young, fun and connected. She’s interested in trying new things and explore the different versions of herself.
We have undergone extensive research to identify two segments of E&JOY shoppers: the Recognize Me woman, who is looking to be different with her outfits, expressing herself in different ways; and the Care For Me woman, who is looking to be casual and comfortable in her environment and her clothing.


Purpose of the position:

This position is to responsible to develop products for her/his product category (in collaboration with the Design team). He/she contributes to achieve turnover and endstock targets and is 100% responsible of in-margin achievement, by having:
- The right product (collection plan, selection, right size breakdown, stories calendar);
- At the right time (no delay, service rate, management of in-bound with warehouse, stories calendar);
- For the right price (competitive benchmark, in-margin);
- In the right quantity (service rate, stock management, transfers).
Job Responsibilities:

1. Collection plan
? Support Brand Manager with her/his detailed expertise of the category to build the collection plan: Family, Size breakdown, Color split, Fittings, Style
? Inside his/her category, define the products’ assortment (pyramid), and create cost breakdowns for each style.

2. Product Development
? Drive product development in partnership with design to have the best product, at the right time and for the right price à Following market trends, historical data and current performance;
? Decide on products to buy, at what price, for which delivery by matching with the collection plan/OTB;
? Pass off the detailed product sheet to the Buying team and maintain communication throughout the production;
? Check samples for accuracy & alert design on any sample problem;
? Actively look for QR opportunities based on market trends and bestsellers and react quickly for next development.

3. Performance analysis (in partnership with Merchandising Flow team)
? TO and quantities evolution (status and reason why);
? Stock, product life cycle and endstock projection;
? Best sellers à possibility to do QR.

4. Market analysis
? Conduct regular market visits and provide feedback to implement ideas
? Conduct competitors analysis regarding product, prices, collection structure

5. Leadership
? Actively seek opportunities to improve the performance of the company, the brand and the team.
? Actively seek opportunities to improve and strengthen the team by coaching, training or recruiting of new talent.
? Coach and train your team by empowering and delegating.
? Support and provide/receive feedback to strengthen performance.

Job Requirements:

? Education:Have a degree from a well-known fashion Institute.
? Experience:You must have at least 5 years of experience in the role of a retail buyer preferably within actual retail buying as well as product development and production in women's wear industry.
? Commercial AwarenessYou need to understand what is going on in the market place, not just yours, but that of your competitors too! Knowing about your customers' needs, and trends in general will enable you to make sound and rational decisions.
? Fashion senseYou need to have a strong fashion sense be aware of the latest trends in the market and being able to filter those for what is needed for your brand or customer.
? Analytical SkillsYou need to enjoy analyzing data and using this to identify trends and potential risks and opportunities. You should be comfortable with basic Statistics.
? Communication SkillsYou will need excellent communication skills. You must be confident.
? Resilience under PressureYou need to be strong enough to keep calm when under pressure. This role can require quick thinking to spot trends, evaluate large amounts of data and make sound decisions. Things can change very quickly and there are always deadlines to meet.
? Language: English is a must
