SUMMARY DESCRIPTION
Performing the daily accounting and month end closing, assisting month end closing for subsidiaries, supporting internal control activities, leading administration of subsidiaries, supporting capital expenditure applications and performing fixed asset accounting.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS
- Responsible for daily accounting and monthly closing, ensure timely and accurate accounts presented for internal and external users under US GAAP and PRC GAAP.
- Assist the subsidiary accounting team for month end closing and annual audit.
- Support the internal control activities, such as set up or improve financial procedures, ensure procedures are interpreted and implemented across the company.
- Maintain Sales Order master file, connect head office sales team with subsidiary accounting team to ensure that sales shipment is made based on concluded customer PO and outstanding accounts receivable is followed up with head office sales team.
- Lead administration and documentation filing of the subsidiaries/legal entities.
- Support other functional department for capital expenditure application to global head quarter.
- Perform fixed asset accounting and safeguard of fixed assets.
QUALIFICATIONS AND KEY COMPETENCES
- Finance/Accounting university degree.
- 5 years of accounting/financial management experience.
- Knowledge of Excel, Word, and JD Edwards desirable.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-based environment.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet demanding deadlines from the internal and external customers.
- Ability to communicate with all levels of personnel.
