GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Develop proposals and solutions for face seals

· Development projects, etc. for customer projects in collaboration with Engineering Support, Technology, Operations/Quality, giving consideration to customer technical and commercial requirements and to internal strategic technical and commercial goals

· Periodic engineering meetings and presentations (e.g. on proposals and solutions and concerning the company and product range) with customers e.g. from Development, Quality, Production Plants and, where appropriate, Purchasing

· Relationship management in regard to customer contacts to establish an optimal personal reputation among customers while promoting the image of FM (creating credibility)

· Develop customer and product strategies in collaboration with Sales/Technology/Operations in regard to e.g. variant selection, combination options, engineering designs, capacity planning, European versus American strategies, new technologies, etc.

· Routine cooperation with colleagues in regard to technical experiences, strategies and the status of specific projects

· As engineering R&D center is located in Germany, regular contact to R&D center by email and phone.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

· University graduate in engineering (e.g. degree in mechanical engineering or production engineering)

· Up to 6 years' career experience

· Fluently speaking english,Chinese

· Willingness to travel within China to meet customers and discuss projects is necessary.
