PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

The task of Service Desk is to be the connection point to IKEA IMS Store Equipment range and related services for all running IKEA units.



ASSIGNMENTS



MAIN TASKS



Support the IKEA running units with IMS store equipment and related services meaning

· Provide know-how about mechanical sales.

· Coordinate and follow-up orders and deliveries of IKEA IMS own range.

· Advice for the best and most cost efficient solution for the end user according to our Store Equipment Strategy.

· Be the main contact, building professional relations and trustful communication to both users and other stakeholders (e.g. suppliers) as well as other functions within IMS.

· Be the ambassador for IMS sales arguments



RESPONSIBILITY

Establish and maintain a professional contact with the running IKEA units
Coordinate orders, deliveries, installation and services to the end users.
Being the facilitator and the adviser towards the user. All to take the responsibility for obtaining the best and cost efficient buy.
Provide know how about our sales arguments
Take responsibility for a clear and professional communication and co-operation towards the users but also between IMS functions and other stakeholders (i.e. suppliers)
Take responsibility for the constant development to find the most efficient ways of working according to the Store Equipment Strategy. Also taking responsibility to share between colleagues in other functions and sites.
Responsible for giving input to the USM regarding Sales Budget and Sales Forecasts.
To provide education in IMS Store Equipment tools towards the end user.
Assume other responsibilities and /or tasks as assigned

IMS required competences:

- Good knowledge in English, both spoken and written

- Have knowledge of and act according to the IKEA values

Knowledge/Experience:

- High level of communication skills

- Knowledge and experience of how to co-operate and work with different people from different cultures

- Have know how about our sales argument

- Knowledge of Store Equipment products and services

- Good knowledge about the IKEA manuals in retail and how to run an IKEA store

- Knowledge about other Store Equipment functions and the processes

- Good PC knowledge
