Principal QA-SDP Page and Shipping Consolidation Tribe

Who We Are?
Redwood(SDP Page and Shipping Consolidation Tribe) is responsible for front pages like Detail Page, Shipping Consolidation Page, Vendor Fund Promotion page. We are one of the most important team in Coupang and working on the most important page. We end to end own the page from front to backend, covers PC, mobile web, Android and iOS platform. We at the very front to serve our customer by providing the best user experiences with high performance and rich user friendly functions. We always put customer as our first priority and earn trust with our grand design and humanistic interaction.
Our mission is to ensure to provide accurate and useful information to customer to help them make purchase decision and easy their shopping experiences which help us earn the customer trust.
We built up the Detail Page to help user find the detail information of the product as well as provide other customized recommendation to customer; we design Shipping Consolidation Page to aim to help customer use less money the purchase more products; we create Vendor Fund Promotion page to provide customer the way to join the vendor promotion and obtain best price products.
How We Do?
Coupang is a test driven company. In SDP Page and Shipping Consolidation Tribe, we use data as the weapon to analysis the customer experiences and user pain points, apply A/B test as a tool to validate the innovations and user engagement. We not develop and release feature because we ‘think’ it is good, we use metric and fact to prove.
We provide consistence key functions across the platform and improve the experiences by respecting the differential of the platform based behavior. We work as an engineer but think like a customer. We apply new scalable framework and tool not just because they are new and cool, the final goal of each technical and business innovation is customer impact.
The SDP Page and Shipping Consolidation tribe is a true blending group with UI, Backend, android and iOS develop talents. We are not only follow business direction to design and develop, we also focus on technical innovation by introducing new tools and framework to ensure our system stability, scalability and high availability, at the same time, we extremely pursue to provide best performance experiences to customer. In our tribe we have 3 team, SDP Page team focus on the core business area; Core Front Team is more focus on the front tech research/apply and user experiences innovation; Core Backend Team is focus on the server stabilization, latency improvement and system reliability.
Responsibilities:
● Develop project test plan, quality assurance plan and configuration management plan.
● Analyze test requirements and design test cases according to the software requirements related documents
● Document, troubleshoot and isolate problems encountered during testing.
● Set up automation framework and drive automation progress.
● Create and maintain automated test cases that ensure comprehensive testing according to system specifications and user stories
● Recruit and coach other members of the agile team


Qualifications:
● Bachelor's degree or above with the major in computer science and technology.
● In depth knowledge of various software quality and testing methodologies.
● At least 5 years work experience; with experience doing manual and automated testing of mobile applications (iOS and Android) is preferred.
● Ability to set up automation framework and drive automation progress.
● Proficient in testing process and ability to interact effectively with developers, operations, release management, and QA peers.
● Extensive experiences in at least one of these programming language (Java/Javascript/Python).
● Extensive experiences in at least one of these automation tools (Selenium/LoadRunner/ JMeter/Appium).
● Good project coordination skills, high team spirit, positive can-do attitude, can handle tight deadlines
● Must be able to stand per customer point of view and insist on the understanding until there has clear evidence proves.
● Evidence of excellence in deep dive, Think Systematically and ruthless prioritization.
● Familiar with agile development life cycle.
● Conscientious, careful, organized; highly motivated, strong ambition for knowledge.
● Strong communication skills and teamwork spirit
