Java Engineer is responsible for
? Work with the globally distributed team members and counterparts, understand the users’ requirements, provide production support, and implement solutions for our projects
? Responsible for analysis of current programs including performance, diagnosis and troubleshooting of problem programs, and designing solutions to problematic programming.
? Isolate and provide resolution to customer issues or qualify the customer issue for senior level assistance or other vendor assistance.
? Review and repair legacy code.
? Responsible for development of new programs, analyzes current programs and processes, and making recommendations which yield a more cost effective product.
? Efficiently prioritize work items and/or customer requirements based on direction from senior team members or management.
? Strong and effective inter-personal and communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of clients and staff.
? Provide assistance to testers and support personnel as needed to determine system problems.
? Provide recommendations to management concerning issues of programmer productivity and software development management.
MUST-have skills/Experience:
? At least 5+ years (8 years+ is a plus) programming experiences in web development.
? Familiar with OO and design patterns.
? Experience in Java , J2EE, XML, Web Services, SQL, ANT, HTML5/Javascript
? Should have strong knowledge and experience on Tomcat and or Websphere/Weblogic
? XML Extraction and Transformation
? Expert knowledge of computer logic and flow-charting.
? Experienced on Websphere to JBoss converting will be a big plus.
? Experienced on Tomcat upgrade will be a big plus.
? Experienced on SSO will be a plus.
? Experienced on HCM will be a plus.
? Experienced on Linux will be a plus.
? Experienced on Oracle/DB2 will be a plus
? Experienced on Java continuously build and testing process will be a plus.
? Good knowledge of security and encryption.
? Good communication skills in both English and Chinese.
? Strong communication skills, product tech support experience in a global environment with very good troubleshooting skills.
? Proactive, enthusiastic, reliable, professional, responsible, quick learner, ability to prioritize your own workload, ability to work independently to tight deadlines.
