Job Description
? Ensures that monthly financial statements are completed and distributed on a timely basis.
? Ensures that all balance sheet accounts are reconciled on a monthly basis and a system of internal controls are in place to facilitate a clean audit opinion with no audit adjustments or internal control deficiencies noted.
? Double checks all invoices to make sure the reimbursement process has been done well.
? Works with each department heads to process (delete the word "and") accounts payable.
? Supports Finance Manager and LIH Olivia’s Place corporate staff to develop financial goals, policies and procedures for LIH Olivia’s Place Shanghai Pediatric Clinic as part of the clinic’s strategic planning process.
? Supports Finance Manager to complete the Finance reports and submit to the Corp Finance on time.
 
Required Qualifications
? Must be bilingual (Mandarin, English); additional languages welcome;
? Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field;
? Minimum of 2 years international financial specialist experience required;
? Able to establish effective working relationships as part of a cross-functional team;
? Able to effectively use computer applications such as spreadsheets, word processing, calendar, e-mail and database software in performing work assignments;
? Able to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English sufficiently to perform the essential duties of the position;
? Displays core values of integrity; customer focus, reliability; initiative; resourcefulness; teamwork.
? Excellent judgment and creative problem solving, including conflict resolution skills.
? Willingness to learn and apply new concepts;
? Understanding of the diversity of the population served by the medical center.
