Electrical Installation Engineer - is responsible for the successful installation supervision of large forging, extrusion and other electro-hydraulic systems. The successful candidate will work with local labors in locations throughout China for the installation and wiring of Oilgear designed control desks and PLC panels. The candidate will be programming, debugging and modifying the control system using the Siemens S7 300/400 PLC and HMI. The electrical control equipment is customer designed to control the Oilgear Hydraulic pumps and valves. The successful candidate will work with the Oilgear engineer's installation drawings and electrical circuits to successfully install and operate the customers' equipment. The candidate must be able to resolve issues while at the customer site (self reliant).
The duties include:
· Reading an electrical schematic
· Supervising the labor team for proper wiring and installing of the PLC, control desk, electric motors, sensors and solenoid controlled valves
· Trouble shooting for the electric system
· Lead the final acceptance testing of the equipment
· Maintain the installation schedule
· Workable English to communicate with foreign installation team and engineers
· On-site installation can be from 2 months to 6 months with periodic trips home. Travel 75% required. Travel allowance will be provided
· Bachelor degree majored in Electrical Engineering, Automation
· Min. 3 years site service experience, electrical or similar heavy industry background
· Programming of Siemens S7 300 or 400 PLC and HMI
· Workable English language skills in both writing and verbal
· Good Communication and organizational skills
· Knowledge of electro-hydraulic systems
· Familiar with wiring according to Chinese standards
