Hydraulic Service Engineer - is responsible for the successful installation supervision of large forging, extrusion and other hydraulic systems. The successful candidate will work with local labors in locations throughout China for the installation of Oilgear manifolds, pump/motor skids, cooling skids and other hydraulic auxiliary equipment shipped from global locations. The successful candidate will work with the Oilgear engineer's installation drawings and hydraulic circuits to successful install and operate the customers equipment. The candidate must be able to resolve issues while at the customer site (self-reliant).
The duties include:
· Reading a hydraulic Schematic and plant layout drawings
· Supervising the labor team on piping, flushing and properly installing and commissioning the hydraulic system
· Trouble shooting for the hydraulic system
· Lead the final acceptance testing of the system
· Maintain the installation schedule
· Workable English to communicate with overseas colleagues
· Onsite installation can be from 2 months to 1 year with periodic trips home. Travel 75% required
· Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor degree majored in Hydraulic Engineering
· Min. 3 years site service experience, electrical or similar heavy industry background
· Familiar with hydraulic system, control system in heavy industry (such as steel mills), heavy machinery, press
· Workable English language skills in both writing and verbal
· Good communication and organizational skills
· Knowledge of electro-hydraulic systems
· Familiar with wiring according to Chinese standards
