Electrical Design Engineer - Reporting to the Engineering Manager, responsible for design of the control system including control desk, PLC panels and selection of the motor control cabinets for large forging, extrusion and other electro-hydraulic systems.
The successful candidate will be required to design, program, debug and modify the control system by using Siemens S7 300/400 PLC and HMI.
The electrical control equipment is customer designed to control Oilgear Hydraulic pumps and valves. Design of the complete system electrical circuit is required.
The duties include:
· Designing an Electrical Control Schematic
· Selecting all electrical components
· Programming of Siemens S7 300/400 PLC and HMI
· Supporting site installation and operation of the equipment
· Helping customers for troubleshooting of the system
· Occasional travel is required
Act as a key contact to our global engineering team for Chinese market
· Bachelor degree, majored in Electrical Engineering or related
· Min. 6 years similar electrical design experience for automation industry
· Min. 2 years Siemens PLC and HMI programming experience
· Proficient English language skills
· Good communication skills
· Good command of PC software
Knowledge of electro-hydraulic control systems or experience in heavy industry projects will be preferred
