Project Manager- Onshore
Goals/Mission:
- To ensure the technical and economical success of wind turbine projects in accordance with the project specific target agreement.
Contacts:
- Internal: Global Project Order Management, Tender & Construction, Assistant Project Managers, Transport, Supply Chain, Engineering, QA, Service, and Site Management
Tasks:
- Responsible for Project Management of sales projects
- Assist in preparation of complex project tenders
- Assist in negotiation of sales projects
- Inspect potential turbine installation sites and access condition
- Responsible for starting up projects, follow up and monitor the projects and
- Reporting to management of project status
- Responsible for managing and coaching of the employees' assigned to the project
- Responsible for evaluating on projects in order to share lessons
- Learned with the rest of the Project Department
- The employee is obligated to keep him- or her self informed of the QA system and the procedures related to the position and to work in accordance with the requirements defined in the QA system
- The employee is obligated to keep him- or herself informed of the Siemens Process House and the procedures related to the position and to work in accordance with the requirements defined in the Siemens Process House
- The employee is obligated to keep him- or her self informed of the procedures relevant to the position. This includes waste sorting and handling of chemicals in the work area. The employee is obligated to react on observed nonconformities to the written procedures and to contribute to the improvement of the environment.

Technical Project Manager - Offshore
- The satellite forms a part of the Offshore Business Region of Siemens Wind Power located in Brande, Denmark. Other Technical Project Manager teams are located in Brande (DK), Frimley (GB), Hamburg (DE), Den Hague (NL) and Beijing (CN). The Offshore Engineering group within the Offshore Business Region is responsible for the technical project management of the technically complex offshore wind turbine projects. Furthermore, the group deals with developing new solutions for offshore wind turbine installation, developing safe access solutions to the wind turbine foundations as well as participating in the sales process for future offshore wind turbine projects

Your work assignments
In this position, you will have the following work assignments:
- Manage the technical part of offshore sales projects
- Participate in technical sales of offshore projects
- Design and interface management
- Perform technical contract negotiations with suppliers
- Participate in development and optimization of new solutions for offshore wind turbine installation
- Plan and analyze the strategy for project implementation
- Participate on-site in wind turbine installation
You will be based in Beijing, China forming a local team with colleagues in Sales and Project Management and in close dialogue with the Offshore Head Office, Engineering Department as well as the Production Department and the Service Department, all located in Brande, DK.
Your profile
- You have an academic background, preferably an MSc in Mechanical, Electrical or Aerospace Engineering and several years of relevant experience. You are fluent in English and familiar with either offshore or wind turbine business. You are decisive and have strong planning and facilitating skills. Furthermore, you are enthusiastic, result-oriented, customer focused, resourceful and creative. You are characterized by having strong conceptual problem solving capabilities and you are willing to travel.
