JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/SUMMARY：
1. Develop new Polyamide and Polyester products independently or by assisting senior R&D engineer.
2. To make Polyamide and Polyester laboratory batches to assess new formulations and raw materials.
3. To assist production in the scale-up of new formulations to ensure a smooth transition from the laboratory to full scale production.
4. To provide a technical service to customers to ensure the successful introduction of new products and resolve any technical issues relating to new or existing products.
5. To investigate, administer and resolve technical claims to retain customer confidence and continued business.
6. In collaboration with sales, to build and strengthen links with customers to proactively collect customer and market demands and thereby determine the need for new products.
7. To identify new raw materials to improve technical performance and/or reduce cost to maintain or improve commercial competitiveness
REQUIREMENT：
1. Master degree in polymer chemistry or chemistry. Higher degrees (PhD) in polymer chemistry or plastics technology would be an advantage.
2. 3 years experience in Polyamide and/or Polyester development is preferred.
3. The ability to conduct laboratory trials in a safe, reliable and efficient manner.
4. Excellent polymer structure-property-application knowledge.
5. Good knowledge of polymer processing, testing and analytical techniques.
6. Fluent English both orally and written.
7. Good communication skills.
