Main Responsibility:
1. Represents TI Automotive to customers and vendors.
2. Coordinates between TI AP and customer on new product and concept design.
3. Coordinates engineering activities as necessary with other departments and/ or divisions.
4. Coordinates with vendors and/ or customers on a frequent basis.

Additional Responsibilities:
1. Initiates the Design process
2. Performs the Designs analyses
3. Assist in maintaining cost control.
4. Stays abreast of new technology.
5. Regular contact with others outside the work group.
6. Maintains evidence manuals and/ or files on each assigned project.
7. Review and approve DFMEA's
8. Review and approve validation test reports
9. Advises customer of design standards and recommendations for design features.
10. Give program directions to application Engineers, CAD designers, to insure objectives are met.
11. Interface with account and platform managers as well as customers to determine that program objectives are met.
12. Establish product design parameters.
13. Simplify and standardize current and new designs to maximize economic benefits.
14. Maintain QS 9000 approved procedures.
15. Other duties as assigned.


Requirments
1. Bachelor Degree or above major in Engineering or related field;
2. Extensive related working experience in the automotive component supply industry;
3. Be fluency in English reading, writing or speaking,
4. Excellent computer skills, especially in Auto CAD, UG, Photo Shop;
5. Understanding of Engineering theory and principles of design;
6. High level of analytical ability where problems are unusual and difficult;
7. Solid communication skills either with colleagues or customers;
8. Familiarity with basic machine tools, sheet metal and fabrication;
9. Ability to formulate and implement solutions to design problems;
10. Willing to take biz trip frequency.

Since TI Automotive FCS established the first operation in Qinhuangdao in 1987, its Bundy B&F business has achieved great success in China with thousands of staff in nearly a dozen of plants near OEM customers.
TI Automotive Systems (Shanghai)Co., Ltd which has the B&F and HVAC business under TI Automotive FCS, has about 29 global facilities in Mexico, USA, Germany, Italy, Spain, Czech, Japan, South Korea, Australia and China. In China, it has more than 10 plants for supplying a/c hose and tube assemblies, receivers/driers, accumulators, quick connectors, and TOC/EOC lines to global OEMs and a/c system suppliers worldwide, which located in Qinhuangdao, Shanghai, Yantai, Changchun, Shenyang, Tianjin, Chongqing, Wuhan, Haikou etc..
