Reporting to: General Manager, Greater China
Location: Shanghai
General Summary: The Sales Operations Manager is responsible for the strategic development of analytical and performance based tools and processes to support/drive the execution of the sales plans and maximize sales performance. Develop, create and update forecasts with accuracy and in a timely fashion, based on facts and trends obtained from marketing, product, and sales and own market analysis.
Job Responsibilities
? Sales Planning
- Facilitate the design, implementation and ongoing management of system/process of sales programs, discount, incentives, compensation, rebate etc. to drive sales force effectiveness.
- Proactively drive/monitor/strives to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy and process consistency in the sales organization’s planning effort.
- Responsible for liaising and communicating the forecast/planning changes and leading Regional Sales Manager Meeting.
- Coordinates sales forecasting, planning and execution processes working with Marketing, Products, Sales, IT, Operation and Finance including, but not limited to New Product Launch, Event, Close out programs etc.
- Coordinates sales activities/event with Marketing/sales on a regular basis.
? Sales Analytics and Report
- Be familiar with sales reporting and generate field sales reports as required.
- Identify strategic and tactical information needs for the development of analytical tools.
- Responsible for provide the reports specific sales revenue, discounts, units, incentives, compensation and rebate by product and/or by customers.
- Working with IT/Finance to monitor information availability and ensure database accuracy.
- Working with IT to develop, maintain and implement software solutions for sales performance, promotion, incentives, compensation, rebate and other sales reporting.
? Sales Administration
- Define and implement field sales communication strategies that limit distractions while maximizing the effective transfer or information.
- Manage/maintain sales policies and processes.
- Proactively identifies opportunities for sales process improvement, Works closely with sales to inspect sales process quality and prioritize opportunities for improvement.
- Manage the contract, rebate confirmation letter, warning letters etc. sales documentation working with Finance and Admin.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree or above, majoring in economics, business administration is preferred
- More than 5 years-experience in sales operation function of multi-national company
- English fluency – strong English communication and writing skills
- Strong analytical, problem solving skills and time management skills
- Positive attitude toward learning to enhance broader knowledge of sales operations skills
- Maintain confidentiality of business relations / information
- Good team worker, self-motivated, highly effective and detail oriented
- SAP R3, MS Excel, Words, Power Point
- Ability to play golf/knowledge of golf is a PLUS
