职位描述：
Primary objective to assure the necessary Quality performance is assured for Electronic ASIC programs identified by the Global Sourcing Director and deemed of strategic significance to the Sensata Product Family.
This role represents Global Sourcing (Electronics) working in isolation at times and also at times with cross functional team (Design, Operations, Failure Analysis, Product/Test Engineering) in order to demonstrate clear intent and assure quality on strategic level.
Strong initiative and drive needed to make a difference including the ability to earn the respect of colleagues
The role should be capable in managing the quality of Foundries / Assembly Test houses / EMA manufacturers which requires good understanding of Semiconductor IC Manufacturing process, as well as prior work experience in one of those areas. At certain cadence, this role will be working with conventional SQE to drive quality KPIs/Excursions to ensure suppliers match the requirement of Sensata, in parallel of, providing insights to assist strategic supplier engagement/disengagement.
This role will assist also cost reductions (avoidance and savings) progress flawlessly in quality perspective, which requires both knowledge of change management and sense of effective communication.
This role will be fully authorized to manage the quality of both semiconductor and electronics suppliers in emerging businesses. Including design KPI, set review meetings, give go/nogo to Sourcing decisions.
The role will report directly to the Global ASIC Sourcing Manager based in Shanghai, China

? Candidate will monitor the progress and health of flagship projects, identified by the Global Electronics Sourcing Director, to achieve Zero defect from design phase through to mass Safe Launch and into Mass production.
? Candidate will represent cross-functional teams to drive root cause determination, implement effective containment and corrective actions, and insuring preventive actions are taken to prevent re-occurrence.
? Ability to motivate others, remain focused and organized.
? Strong leadership & project management skills.
? Detail-oriented flexible and able to work well with others with minimal supervision.
? Candidate must have experience with HVM (High Volume Manufacturing) semiconductor manufacturing methods, analytical and problem solving skills with strong communication, and presentation skills working in a multicultural environment.
? Candidate must be able to interface/communicate with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams internally and external suppliers including sub-contractors.
? Experience dealing with supplier quality issues and HVM (High Volume Manufacturing) troubleshooting through problem solving for continuous improvement.
? Knowledge of latest IC assembly and test processes as well as strong quality systems background is considered an advantage.
Job Requirements:
? Required: Bachelor or Master of Engineering / Science
? Experience: 5+ years in electronics industry and 3+ years of quality, partial semiconductor industry is preferred
? Deep understanding of quality
? Knowledge of Wafer Fab and/or Packaging process
? Strong communication skills in all aspects of English – verbal, written and presentation including Webex and Conference Calls
? Automotive background is considered an advantage
? Travel would be required and estimated to be within Asia 15% and global 5%
Additional Details:
? Demonstrable understanding of Six Sigma or Lean or similar
? Knowledgeable in semiconductor process
? Possess analytical and technical skills required.
? Must have implemented PPAP and Quality System Improvements
? Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills for effective interface with all internal and external contacts. Able to influence at all levels
? Ability to not only identify problems but also take action towards solving them.
? Results oriented, driven individual
? Demonstrable achievements in improvements and / or change management
? Wide industry knowledge an advantage
? Able to successfully manage challenging situations, and generate executive summaries for internal and external customers.
? Ability to successfully interact within a quality, engineering, design and manufacturing communities.
? Ability to instill confidence in all stakeholder groups and manage complex supply chain relationships
? Travel would be required and estimated to be within Asia 15% and global 5%
Competencies Required:
? Drive systemic improvements in supplier performance through the application of 8D corrective actions, drill deep and drill wide analyses plus Six Sigma and Lean Tools.
? Provide analytical support by monitoring metrics for the customer, management and team, while also creating ad hoc analysis as needed.
? ISO 9000 / TS16949 Certified Lead Auditor preferred.
? VDA 6.3 certification is a plus
? Knowledge of quality tools i.e. process control plan, base line specification, DOE, SPC, MSA, dFMEA, pFMEA and etc.
? Demonstrable experience using statistical analysis, Minitab, JMP or equivalent
