Main Responsibilities:
- Update and maintain Environmental monitoring matrix and layout. Organize environmental monitoring according to the plan, evaluate and distribute the results and archive reports. Support corrective/preventive action if needed.
- Organize and participate HSEQ audit for the Environmental related vendors, archive for the audit report and qualification.
- Projects/Tasks required from authority such as implementation of cleaner production audit.
- Update Hazardous Waste register at authority .Submit report/information required by authority and global in time.
- Update Environmental legal requirements checklist and conduct legal compliance audit.
- Support BU's on pollution management e.g. Environmental monitoring, Environmental procedure/regulation implementation.
- Support ISO14001 implementation, e.g. update and maintain site service unit EA form, BU EA form alignment etc.

Qualification & Requirements:
- Requires a degree in Environmental Management/Engineering or equivalent: Bachelor plus 4 years experience or Masters plus 2 years experience.
- Production experience in Chemical Industry required.
- Required within 2-5 years of being placed in this position.
- Position requires strong coordination, organizational, interpersonal skills. Must work well in teams.
- Knowledge of applicable laws and regulation, existing relationship with local authorities desired.
- Working knowledge of the plant processes and how they are associated. A knowledge and understanding of the national and local environmental regulations and standards.
- Organizational and interpersonal and presentation skills are needed to communicate within all levels of the plant and corporate structure.
