Main Duty:

1.To thoroughly analyze the warranty claim situation of specific customers and to explore all potential sources of information like portals, Q-Departments, Accounting, Sales etc..

2.To independently gather a profound understanding of customer specific processes (e.g. contractual agreements, specific process descriptions ect.) and create a customer-specific warranty handling process documentation (this documentation translates the customer individual specifics to the Benteler standards and clearly defines the intersection between customers, Benteler and suppliers).

3.To drive the necessary SAP customization in cooperation with the IT department in order to implement the warranty claim handling for the respective customer(s) into the SAP system.

4.Under consideration of procedure A_CEO_004 handle complex (inter-)national warranty claims in SAP with or without the use of internet based customer portals: To reject claims formally, request/inspect parts, initiate a technical analysis (in- or externally) and perform plausibility checks (deadlines, mileage, part no., costs, etc.). To accept/reject claims under consideration of the respective AP Warranty Manager and Product Group's Quality Manager's decision in Paderborn. To be responsible for collecting receivables/outstanding money from customers/suppliers in cooperation with Sales/Purchasing department.

5.To act as a central contact person and communication manager for warranty related matters to assure proper validation of a claim):
1) Internally between Product Groups, Regions, Controlling, Global Quality, Sales, Purchasing, etc.
2) Externally in cooperation with Sales for Benteler's customers (e.g. responsibility rate), with Purchasing for suppliers (e.g. technical analyses).

6.To initiate and assist the implementation of lessons learnt derived from the cases in the respective areas and departments in cooperation with the respective Product Group's Quality Manager in Paderborn.

7.To manually and independently process customer specific raw data to accommodate the Benteler specific reporting requirements for manual and/or automatic reports as a basis for the warranty cockpit. To comment on warranty reports e.g. regarding trends discussed but not yet agreed on with the Supplier/Customer etc..

8.To instruct and comply with the safety rules and provide the necessary means so that employees can perform their work activities using appropriate health and safety measures such that their life and health are not endangered. If applicable look out for the health and safety of the workers for whom the incumbent is responsible in all job-related aspects.

EXperience Needed:
1.University/College degree in Business or preferably Engineering or law related area
2.3-5 years experience in Automotive Quality Management and Project Management (Generalist)
3.Comprehensive social competency (e.g. interpersonal skills, analytical skills, ability to work independently, assertiveness)
4.Comprehensive system/application know-how (MS-Office, SAP, Customer Portals etc.)
5.Foreign language skills (depending on respective customers, minimum requirement: Fluent Chinese and English, German advantageous but not a must)
