Primary Purpose of Job (Job Summary) 主要工作目标（岗位简介）
By enabling PBPK modeling and simulation in different ethnicities, this fellowship will facilitate faster and more efficient clinical development for important markets such as China. It will facilitate more efficient bridging of clinical data from West to East and also East to West.

This is a 2-year fellowship jointly at Roche pRED China and Sun Yat-sen University with an option of extending for another year. The compensation package is highly competitive. Shanghai Hu Kou (formal residentship) may be sponsored for qualified candidate. High impact publications are expected from this fellowship. Short-term training at our headquarter in Basel, Switzerland will be provided.

Generation of novel data on DMPK-related protein expression in Chinese population
Identification of the mechanistic basis of DMPK differences between Chinese and Caucasian populations
Use of PBPK modeling to predict ethnic and age differences in pharmacokinetics
Furthering use of PBPK models to support drug development decisions and the design of clinical studies as a part of a model-based-drug-development strategy

Qualification:

Education/Qualifications教育程度/所获资格证书
MD, PharmD, or PhD in pharmaceutics, pharmacokinetics or other related areas.
Both new graduates and candidates with 0-4 years of post-graduate working experience will be considered.

Job Required Competencies岗位所需胜任力
Experience with drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics, including in vitro experiments, modeling and simulation is desirable.
Knowledge in global drug development is desirable.
