Senior Merchandiser

The Senior Merchandiser will handle procurement related activities for Plush Categories from the receipt of concepts to the completion of the shipment, including sample coordination, product development, execution and delivery. S/he will work very closely with Southern China suppliers and ensure product quality, on-time shipment, supplier performance as well as maintaining effective communication with Kansas City headquarters and the Shanghai Office. The Senior Merchandiser will report to Maria Guo, Procurement Manager.

Requirements:

. University degree or above with at least 7 years solid merchandising experience, plush toy or sewn items knowledge is a must

. Strong customer service, negotiation skill, Cantonese is definitely an advantage

. Must be able to communicate effectively in both written and spoken English

. Able to work under pressure, be positive and mature

. Willing to travel and work in factories
