Market Research Manager - China

LOCATION Shanghai

REPORTS TO Research Director

GEOGRAPHICAL SCOPE Role will be based in Shanghai with a primary focus on project management and client servicing
ROLE OBJECTIVE The incumbent will manage key client relationships, consult on client needs, and provide expertise and guidance across all phases of Market Research studies for assigned clients in various industries by either performing or supervising the following sets of activities

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
？ Manage the client contact for assigned projects including meeting clients, proactively investigating client needs, developing research solutions to meet client needs and managing research execution.
？ Support Business Development in Greater China in marketing and business development
？ Oversee project direction and reporting to ensure a timely and high quality end product. This includes designing surveys, leading project kick-off meetings and working closely with internal departments to ensure schedule, quality and costs are maintained.
？ Develop analytical design for studies and devise reporting procedures.
？ Support marketing activities such as preparation of marketing materials and collateral, conferences, thought papers.

(II) SELECTION CRITERIA

CORE REQUIREMENTS
？ 4-6 years related work experience in consulting / Market Research / analytics for the Market Research Manager position
？ Experience in managing custom quantitative research projects required, with ability to design questionnaires as well as plan and create insightful and actionable reports.
？ Must be able to coordinate other research and operations staff and delegate completion of individual tasks with proven track record of managing all aspects of quantitative research project work
？ Superior marketing, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships
？ Bachelor’s degree
？ Excellent inter-personal skill
？ Excellent writing skill. Fluent in English and Mandarin
