Sales Trainee, Guangzhou

Kvadrat was established in Denmark in 1968 and has deep roots in the Scandinavian design tradition. Kvadrat holds the leading position in the high-quality contemporary textiles market in Europe. We supply architects, designers and private consumers across the world with textiles and textile-related products.

We have launched a new Global Sales Trainee Program and are looking for young talents who have ambitions to develop a long term career within sales in a high-profile international organization. This opportunity will provide a valuable international experience in your future career, and you can expect an exceptional challenge in an extremely growth-oriented organization, where you will be working with one of the most successful textile collections in Europe.

What you can expect:

You will follow a well-planned one-year international training program, which takes place in our HQ in Denmark, subsidiaries in Hong Kong and Shanghai. Experienced mentors and colleagues in different departments and areas will educate and support you to fully understand the Kvadrat business and our processes. You will obtain valuable international experience and knowledge, you will develop and strengthen your position as a professional sales person and you will build up global and local networks.

Kvadrat takes an active part in contemporary culture and will introduce you to design, architecture and art.

After completing the trainee program, you could be offered a position as Account Manager with Kvadrat, which will be located in Guangzhou. You would have contact with international and selected local high-end architects, interior designers and end-user customers directly, in order to strengthen and develop our primary position in the contract market in South China.

Your profile:

You have a bachelor or above degree in commercial or business studies, with at least 1 year oversea education experience. The ideal candidate also has 1 to 2 years of working experience (or internship experience) in a high-profile international company and has English proficiencies on a high level, both in speaking and writing. Your mother tongue is Mandarin and Cantonese.

You describe yourself as confident, determined and persistent; you are outgoing, good at communicating, and motivated by establishing new relations; you are service minded and have a strong sense of responsibility and dedication. Facing new challenges and acquiring new skills is a primary motivation for you to work in the textile business.

We offer you:

A one- year training opportunity in Denmark and Asia. Relevant accommodation and travel during your training will be well-arranged by our company.

An interesting monthly fixed salary with benefits and insurance package as trainee.

A possibility to become a full-time Account Manager with an attractive salary package including a fixed monthly salary, sales commission and bonus, insurance scheme and extra benefits.

Regularly global and local training within our Kvadrat Academy, and a great personal development in a successful international group.
