职位描述
Goals/Mission:
- The project manager takes full responsibility for successful implementation of smart metering project within specified time, cost, resource, and quality constraints.
Working Partners/Contacts:
- Internal contact: software implementation engineers (team members), technical architects, sales, bidding, product, R&D and commercial departments, etc.
- External contact: customers, tending agencies, suppliers, partners, etc.
Tasks:
- Manage the entire processes of smart metering implementation project according to contract; including project plan, architecture design, effort estimation, project team setup and management, task assignment, budget controlling and reporting, quality control, interim report and final delivery.
- Qualify software implementation engineers in recruiting process, coach and develop members in the team.
- Actively support pre-sales activities, e.g. technical presentation and communication.
- Actively support development of technical & commercial customer proposals during bidding process.
- Actively support product management and R&D translating customer requirements into detailed Product and/or Functionality requirements.
Education:
- Bachelor degree or above, major in Electric Automation/Computer Science/Software Engineering related.
Knowledge:
- Knowledge of smart metering technologies, e.g. metering standard, meter data management, automatic meter reading, advanced metering infrastructure
- Knowledge of power utility customers and their requirements in metering
- Knowledge of IT architecture, operating system, software engineering, database, etc.
- Knowledge of economics, financials, contract law in project business
- Good command of written and spoken English
Experience:
- Technical experiences (>5 years) in metering-related sector
- Experiences in project management (successfully managed project references required)
- Experiences in communication with power utility customers (nice to have sales experiences)
- Prior experience in a multi-national environment
