Responsibility:
1. Tasks in the role of MP China Project Manager:
2. Manages his/her project and resources participating in it so that the targets of the project as well as Valmet PFT are met.
3. Reports project progress to the management, the MC project manager and the customer.
4. Manages and supervises customer project execution in such a way that the customer receives a functioning process entity that conforms to the contract and the given schedule.
5. Supervises the project economy and updates the project cost follow-up and estimate together with the Project Accountant.
6. Operates as local main contact of customer, consultants, sub-suppliers and partners as well as of all involved Valmet units from the contract signing to the end of project warranty period.
7. Sets up and manages a project Quality Assurance plan.
8. Manages project risks and coordinates risk elimination and/or containment.
9. Operates as employer representative when on site supervising that common Valmet PFT On Site rules are followed.
10. Tasks in the role of Area Project Manager for whole project:
11. Operates as local main contact of customer, consultants, sub-suppliers and partners as well as of all involved Valmet units from the contract signing to the end of project warranty period.
12. Operates as the MC project manager's local support in China.
13. Handles daily communication, meeting arrangements and other coordination as required locally.
14. Can be the MC project manager after 1-3 years of working
15. Responsibilities of Project Manager:
16. Customer contacts from assignment to the end of warranty period.
17. Proactive information transfer between Valmet PFT, the customer, consultants and sub-suppliers
18. To check with and to consider customer expectations / targets / needs in the supply chain and when needed, to rectify and correct these to correspond to the actual delivery.
19. To get basic information from customer / consultants / sub-suppliers to Valmet PFT and vice versa.
20. Checking of concepts and implementation of customer specific requirements in the supply chain.
21. Schedule coordination between customer / consultants / sub-suppliers and Valmet PFT.
22. Coordination of sub-supplier's and Valmet PFT's delivery portions as well as supervision of procurement.
23. Arrangement of external and internal project meetings.
24. Project cost follow-up, optimization and estimation as well as clarification and reporting of cost deviations.
25. Reporting of problems, quality flaws and RTD needs as well as customer claims and complaints.
26. Project documentation.
27. Contact with authorities in context of projects.
28. Supervision of customer purchase orders and invoicing as well clarification of problems and delayed payments.
29. Organizing the project with the customer and internally with Valmet units.
30. Set up of Quality Assurance plan and following it up.
31. Risk management with related actions.
32. When separately agreed, to participate in customer training and site operations.
33. To agree with customer on plus/minus lists and subsequent invoicing.
34. Coordination of warranty items and after start-up worklist as well as closing the project.
35. Contact with customer during warranty period and securing the reference value of the project.
36. Transfer of customer relationships to Service organization during the warranty period.

Requirement
1.？ Bachelor degree or above in related disciplines
2.？ Minimum of 5 years’ field experience in paper machinery or big paper mill and additionally minimum of 2 years’ experience in some special field for example management level.
3.？ Must be able to work independently and effectively with people at all levels.
4.？ Communication skills consistent with need to direct, develop and motivate others
