QA/QC Supervisor
Job descriptions:
1. To travel to factory to supervise QC work/do QC work if needed
2. To analyze a new product in terms of technical & testing, set inspection standard and procedure for QC team to follow to meet customer requirement & then train QC team to implement it (like how to inspect the product, how to take photos and how many photos for each products, etc.) to meet customer need for new products, then train QC team member to follow.
3. Arrange weekly QC inspection schedule with planner’s assistance and supervise QC team member daily work under assigned standard and procedures, then report to office manager in timely manner.
4. To prepare English QC report if needed and train QC members to prepare English QC report.
5. Responsible for analyzing products which failed in QC inspection or that was reported as defected by customer and able to find out the reason of the failure and provide corrective actions to supplier for improvement in the future.
6. To check samples in office together with merchandising team based on customer requirement and provide sample check report to merchandiser for follow up with suppliers, work together with merchandiser to handle sample rejection by customer and support merchandising team to approve samples in a good time manner.
7. To support and assist any quality problem solving and to support solutions formulation in relating to quality assurance and audit assessment report and also train QC team member to conduct factory audit.
8. To support handle customer complaint and claim cases and take charge of handling big claim cases and making related corrective action plan for company and supplier to improve.
9. To provide testing advices to merchandising team for new development and production and always proactive in learning new regulation of products in EU&US market to maintain a good and updated technical data base.
10. To work with customer QA to handle technical, testing and quality issues and provide customer with good satisfaction of technical support and quality insurance from supplier base.
11. To conduct factory/vendor quality audit and to prepare and draft audit assessment report and to train QC to conduct factory audit.
12. To take up any ad hoc assignments assigned by office manager.
Requirements:
1. Diploma holder or equivalent degree is required.
2. Effective oral and written communication skills in Mandarin & English
3. Minimum 5 years relevant quality assurance experience, prior experience in kitchen &dining, lighting, candle, handcrafts, electronics and toys product is a must
4. Working way of high efficiency & details oriented is required.
5. Familiar with European /US Market is an added advantage
6. Good computer knowledge & MS applications (Word, Excel, PPT & Outlook)
7. Can accept business trip periodically as needed
