The District Manager is responsible for managing the sales activities in the dedicated district(s) in order to meet established sales goals and perform those activities to achieve the objective in obtaining maximum growth and profitability for assigned market segments and to develop and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. Furthermore she/he manages, coaches and guides members of his sales team so that their sales skills are continuously improved, their support needs identified and time within the team is used as efficiently as possible.
岗位职责

Sales target achievement
- Develop and execute business plan in the assigned territory in line with strategic targets and with the company’s / department strategy
- Monitor the progress towards the achievement of sales and business objectives and take any necessary action to ensure that these are achieved or exceeded
- Support a reliable sales forecast for his/her territory
- Direct the flow of information for sales activities and transactions, including leads, billings, orders, contracts, etc. and evaluate data to ensure regional goals are met or exceeded
- Continuously improve and develop his/her sales techniques and technology and that of his team to ensure that the company maintains and develops its competitive position

Customer relationship management
- Plan how to establish, develop and maintain customer relationships in order to meet sales targets in the assigned region
- Plan and perform regular sales visits to allow early approach in upcoming sales opportunities
- Attend and participate in industrial trade shows and similar meetings for the purpose of displaying and promoting Dräger products
- Develop and maintain strong long-term client relationships that provide significant input to planning company product, price, and service strategies

Management of dealers/ agents
- Set clear resources, tasks and goals for managed dealers/ agents (i.e. propose discounts, commissions for dealers, area definitions and revisions, salary & bonus plans and revision) in align with the company’s overall strategy
- Monitor dealers product portfolio and organization development to disclose inconsistency with Dräger strategy and mission
- Implement sales processes and improve its efficiency continuously to align with the company’s requirement
- Ensure that agents / dealers are properly supported, trained and evaluated; keep dealers/ agents highly motivated
- Conduct regular dealer review meeting for performance and effectiveness and work with dealers to solve performance discrepancies as when necessary

Market competitor analysis
- Monitor the sales performance of competitors to ensure that the company maintains and develops its competitive position via appropriate countermeasures
- Keep an awareness of the competition, their strengths, weaknesses, sales and marketing methods and philosophies
- Keep knowledge on the complete Dräger product lines and competitors as they relate to Dräger products up to date
- Ensures to be informed at all times of the general activities of the marketing area
- Observe assigned regions’ market information and trend, feedback to company for any further arrangement or action

Policy following
- Ensure expenses are controlled and justified within budgetary guidelines
- Remain up to date with related safety regulations and policies with respect to the Dräger products
- Ensure orders are accepted in accordance with approved pricing and terms of sale
- Operate in accordance with established company policies and procedures

Leadership
- Lead and manage subordinated employees including headcount planning, recruiting, review and assessment of employees’ performance, professional development and coaching, compensation review, and health & safety, motivation and enabling employees to optimize their contribution to the department, align with next higher level manager if necessary
- Monitor and control the performance of the assigned Sales team

Others
- Assure the confidentiality of the customer list and other sensitive company information
- Manage and maintain consignment and demo equipment (products) to ensure accurate balances, efficient and cost effective utilization

任职要求

Bachelor degree in natural sciences or management/marketing or a comparable combination of education and experience

5-8 years sales and/or marketing experience in the automation, instrumentation and/or fire and gas detection industry with local and multinational customers,
Experience in international project business in chemical, petrochemical and/or oil & gas industry,
2-3 years of experience in people management/supervision

- Understanding of pricing structures and gross margin – advanced level
