Position : IT Support Consultant (IBM i)

Location :Guangzhou Job address: Guangzhou.

Headquartered in France, and with offices in Shanghai and Hong Kong, ARCAD Software (www.arcadsoftware.com) is now opening operations in Guangzhou.
Job Responsibilities
Reporting to the Worldwide Customer Care (in France) for the Support activities, your primary mission will be:
- To take ownership of customer issues until resolution
- To research, diagnose, troubleshoot and identify solutions to solve customer issues
- To follow standard procedures for technical escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams
- To provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers
- To ensure proper recording and closure of all issues
- To prepare accurate and timely reports
- To document our knowledge base technical notes and articles
- To provide training and consulting for the implementation of our solutions to our Customers and Partners in China.
- To participate in the development of products (homologation, documentation).
- You responsibilities will include some travels:
- In Mainland China up to 60% of your time,
- In Hong Kong on a quarterly basis,
- In France at least once a year.
Skills and Qualifications
You should have an engineer or a university degree in IT with a first experience in the following domains:
- Enterprise technical support, IT support or as a technical engineer
- Software Configuration Management (Rational Team Concert and/or Git will be a plus)
- IBM iSeries Ecosystem
Chinese should be your first language and you are fluent in English to interact with your colleagues.
In your previous jobs you should have developed:
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent client-facing skills
- Ability to multi-tasks and time management to meet deadlines
- Interpersonal and communication skills when dealing with customers and partners
