Job Description
An Account Director for EYELEVEL (AD) is the first and foremost person responsible for leading, inspiring, coaching, empowering and developing Account teams. Besides people management, Account Director is accountable for developing client relationships and ensuring strategic oversight of the account team. This includes all aspects of business management, overall business growth, development and maintenance of senior level client relationships to effectively increase market share while helping clients improve their return on investment. To achieve this, the AD must be an accountable strategic thinker, excellent communicator, negotiator and self-starter team player working closely with our designers, CAD engineers, production managers, roll-out managers, assembly teams, logistics managers, installation teams and finance department. The AD sets the vision, initiates innovative ideas and drives integration across multi-disciplinary teams.

Account Director Key Responsibilities
1. Driving success of projects - receiving proper briefings, creating planning, organizing internal resources, checking quality of all deliverables, creating project cost estimates, controlling profitability of projects, and assumes ultimate responsibility for the client business within AD’s remit.
2. Supervision of Account Operations – overseeing team’s scope of work and execution of all client deliverables, supervising the planning, implementation, execution and evaluation of the projects, reviewing and monitoring activity and manpower utilization and ensuring high quality of the team’s output.
3. Global Strategic and Operational engagement – foster cooperation, communication and teamwork within EYELEVEL Account teams globally – across teams and branches. Constant proactive involvement in daily branch operations, acts as ambassador of operational changes.
4. Business Development - identifying business opportunities to further establish long-term client partnerships with a broader integrated service offering, discovering and exploring new clients and winning new projects. Being involved in negotiating important deals and building agreements with clients and suppliers.
5. Team Management/Top Level Leadership – leading, developing and motivating Account team/s, planning resources and driving the process of hiring in cooperation with HR department, performance management, organizational development, coaching, providing ongoing support and fostering team work among team members.
6. Strategic Management – helping EYELEVEL clients strategically plan – understanding their strategic position, making strategic choices for the future and managing strategy in action. Developing an operational plan incorporating objectives leading towards the strategic direction of the client.
7. Financial control and project evaluation – Establish and communicate budgets and work back schedules for each project, work within established operating budgets, analyze job revenue, cost and profitability by job and/or project, overseeing profitability of multiple projects and providing timely income forecasts and updates as deemed necessary.
8. Client Satisfaction - developing and keeping excellent relationships with all client contacts.
9. Communication - acting as a trusted communications integrator across teams, keeping client and our teams informed all the time and providing answers to any questions regarding the projects he/she is responsible for.

Job Requirements
1. Deep and solid understanding of the retail industry, interior design and fashion industry
2. Minimum 10 years of experience in Client Service, Project Management or Retail Development with proven record of managing and developing a number of client accounts simultaneously (experience with global markets is a plus)
3. Managerial experience (leading, developing and motivating team members) is a must
4. Strong project management skills: outstanding organizational and planning skills (ability to juggle multiple projects), great attention to detail and follow-through, ability to multi-task and consistently meet deadlines
5. Exhibiting strong strategic and operational decision making skills
6. Negotiation skills – ability to use a range of approaches and strategies to build a stronger negotiation base and form long-term relationships
7. Savvy in identifying potential challenges for the business and confident taking the lead in solving them

Qualifications

1. Self-motivated, confident team-leaders able to motivate all team members to a high performance and excellent quality
2. Convincing presenter with excellent communication skills for both personal and written interaction with clients
3. Well-organized and efficient, with great time management skill
4. Social person for daily interaction with many people
5. Detail oriented and able to learn from past experience
6. Flexible, dedicated, integrity, and goal oriented
7. Fluent Mandarin and English (both verbal and written)
8. Software
    1) Advanced level of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint is a must
    2) Adobe Acrobat Professional
    3) Adobe CS, CAD, or 3-D rendering experience a plus
    4) Experience with ERP Software
