Responsibilities
Development of business :
To promote and establish CSD's Medical Research for clients
To set up a prospection plan for new clients,
To ensure proposal writing including project design, costing, proposal preparation, data analysis, report preparation and presentation of results
To follow-up clients
To ensure the profitability per project
To develop marketing strategies to expand CSD presence in China including action plans
Operational responsibility: quality, budget, timeline,
To Manage projects by coordinating and liaising with relevant CSD staff in the region, and HQ support
To develop and manage a high quality operational team to provide the expected services to customers, taking into account the available resources in other countries/ region : Project management, medical writing (protocols, CRFs, reports, publication...), monitoring, data management, stats, PV, Regulatory affairs... ,
To ensure the implementation of common tools, process, SOPs ....
To communicate scientific understanding to internal and external clients
To manage regulatory issues before the project starts
To manage, negociate , anticipate and coordinate the "out-contracting" work/ tasks
To ensure, supervise scientific, technologic and regulatory survey

Requirements
A medical / life sciences degree and preferably a PhD
5+ years relevant management experience in Agency and/or CROs and/ or pharmaceutical industry
Ability to work independently with minimal direct day-to-day supervision
Demonstrated time management and organisation skills
Hands on, and business oriented skill
High level of English language competency (spoken and written)
Experience in and understanding of the pharmaceutical market place in China
Experience in medical writing, clinical research/ medico marketing trials (epidemiology, health economy, observational studies...)
Knowledge of Business Development
Excellent negotiator and ability to develop strong relationships with clients and suppliers when needed
· Excellent writing and editorial skills
· Ability to effectively analyze and research information
· Able to work as part of a multifunctional team
· Able to express scientific understanding creatively and flexibly to internal and external clients
· Proficient in using Word, PowerPoint
· Multitasking and flexible
· Willing to travel as required - domestic and international
Ability to train, supervise and lead staff from a variety of backgrounds
