Responsibilities:
1. Maintain general ledger to ensure their accuracy and integrity.
2. Ensure the accurate and timely reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts, including bank, payroll, clearing accounts, other accrual and pre-paid accounts, with supporting schedules and documentation.
3. Ensure accurate and timely reconciliation and balancing of all intercompany accounts (I/C profit, AR & AP).
4. Preparation and input of monthly GL Journals including accruals.
5. Assist internal and external auditing
6. Maintain Fixed Assets schedule including additions, disposals and depreciation and ensure adequate system of tracking and control is in place.
7. Establish and implement appropriate accounting controls and procedures to ensure compliance with requirements as specified by the parent company
8. Provide support to local finance/regional finance as required.
9. Provide the required support on major process improvement initiatives and projects.
10. Other ad-hoc requirements and support as required
Requirement:
1. Bachelor degree or above, major in Finance is Preferred
2. >5 years in-house accounting, additional 2-3 share service centre experience especially GL team or 3 years in supervision position is preferred.
3. Strong people management skill and process management skill with an ability to initiate process improvements
4. Familiar with Microsoft Office, with good computer based systems knowledge such as AX or SAP is preferred
5. Good team leader and player with initiatives to develop good team spirit and external relationship.
6. Strong communication and leadership skills with logical thinking mind-set
7. Self-motivated and willing to change
8. Independently working and review daily job, able to work under pressure
9. Good commend of both written and spoken business English
