LOCATION

Report to Development Quality Manager

OVERVIEW
The Development Quality Engineer will take care of all the product qualification activities of new projects, like to define the product validation plan & follow up the test result, product certificate, organize the review meeting after all the tests are done.

RESPONSIBILITIES
? Responsible for define the product validation plan and agree with the supplier and project team about the testing schedule of new projects
? Responsible for all product related certification of assigned new projects is available on time according NPI project plan no matter it is applied by the company or ODM/OEM suppliers.
? Follow up with suppliers and internal testing lab to make sure all the testing of new projects are properly done according to the testing schedule.
? Create the Design Report of new projects and organize the review meeting with related functions to draw the conclusion of new product release.

REQUIREMENTS
? More than 2 years about product qualification and standard compliance related work experience in LED Lighting industry, focus on UL, Energy Star, DLC etc,
? Has basic understanding about how to perform the product qualification tests and all kinds of regulation requirements of US market for LED Lamps and Luminaires
? Familiar with the quality risk assessment tool, like DFMEA etc
? Bachelor degree or above on Engineering, like mechanical and electrical engineering
? Good communication skills, can well communicate with different stakeholders
? Can take the initiative
? Can work independently with less supervision
? Strong ability to work with cross functional team
