SUPERVISOR – TEAM LEADER - SALES MANAGER CHINA
(Shanghai based)
Company under German management based in Shanghai, Distributor of various European
Design Brands for Lifestyle Products and Gifts is
looking for a SUPERVISOR – TEAM LEADER - SALES MANAGER CHINA in our Shanghai Office.
Primary Responsibilities:
- lead, control, manage and supervise a team of sales and marketing specialists
- Initiate and develop relationships within our sales channels
- direct and indirect acquisition of new clients
- develop existing and new POS with a new, unique and lucrative system
- built up and maintain a network to clients in all channels
- initialize and implement sales trainings for staff and customers
- visit existing and new POS and customers on regular basis
- communicate and visit key-accounts together with sales staff on weekly basis
- compare market prices in various sales channels on weekly basis
- in daily communication with our finance department (outsourced)
- report daily to Business Group Manager in Headquarters
Your Profile:
- rich experience in sales, preferably in the distribution of European lifestyle brands (timepieces,
leather goods, travel accessories, writing instruments, premium gifts…) in various channels
- existing retail/etail/corporate/duty free contacts mandatory
- excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
- top-self-motivation
- inspirational and diligent leader
- strong client and results orientation
- target performance
- open minded Chinese or a foreigner
- fluency in Mandarin and English verbally and written is a must
- German or Japanese skills are a plus
- willing to travel frequently
