JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION: Fashion Fabrics Sourcer
BACKGROUND: Trading Textile (80% menswear, 20% womenswear)
LOCALISATION: Shanghai (Jade Temple)
TYPE OF PROFILE: Speaking perfectly English

MISSION: Improving the sourcing fabrics, trims and accessories in China and managing the prototypes making according to the customers’ needs.

1- Sourcing (in cooperation with senior merchandisers).
To improve the fabrics/trims MADE IN collections
To improve data base of the suppliers by finding new suppliers and by selecting new fabrics

2- Management prototypes
To determinate the fabrics according to originals samples, swatches, or just technical files, and matching with targets prices.
To determinate all trims according to originals samples, swatches or just technical files, and matching with targets prices
Create or rearrange new technical files according to each client
To gather all the fabrics/trims to make the prototypes
To launch all the orders with fabric and trims supplier

3- Creation of collections
In collaboration with both directors using shoppings + ideas to create collections: managing new designs / technical files and launch the collection samples with the sample rooms



SALARY: to discuss
