Responsibilities:

This Visa & immigration officer is taking charge of visa & immigration related works for ISPs, ITAPs and local hired foreigners and their family members, mainly based in Shanghai. Meanwhile, this visa & immigration officer also plays a leadership role to support JV?s immigration works, in case it is needed.

Visa & Immigration management:
Support business through provide smooth and efficient immigration service, which including
-Obtain relevant visa for clients prior to the arrival (start the work) if necessary
-Obtain work permit and residence permit for clients and their family members if it is necessary
-Renew/update work permit/residence permit for clients
-File all immigration documentations in good manner, including hard copy and soft copy
-Monitor and manage immigration/visa expiration date for Expats
-Cancel work permit/residence permit upon Clients departure or resignation, etc
-Provide professional insight/advice for clients of visa & immigration related questions, requirements, etc

Expertise and Leadership
Build expertise and demonstrate leadership to improve work efficiency and provide better service
-Establish and maintain good relationship with relevant government agencies

Establish relationship with JV visa & immigration specialist and support visa & immigration work for JV sites within China
Keep close monitoring for all visa & immigration related government policies (including JV sites) and update relevant documents
-Work with AmCham and Amex to understand and update immigration policy for client?s various home country
Expats (ISP & ITAP) Administration
-Arrange and deliver onboard orientation for Expats
-Arrange and implement check-out formalities for Expats
-Work with Global Relocation Service on Expats daily matters

Qualification:

Knowledge and skills:

-College degree or higher
-Working experience in MNCs, with high culture sensitivity
-Relevant working experience is preferred

Competencies:
-Excellent written and oral language skills in both English and Chinese
-Attention to details
-Proven ability to build trust and respect at all levels of the organization
-Strong interpersonal and communication skill
-Proficiency in M/S office skill
