Title: Senior Software Engineer

EMC, a worldwide leader in information infrastructure, the mission of its CTO Office is to help define and steer the long-term technical strategy for whole company. The EMC Labs China operates in CTO Office, and focuses on research, identification, evaluation and development of high-leverage technology incubations.

EMC Labs China is a core component of the EMC China CoE, focusing on fundamental research in new technology, product prototype development and incubation, and collaborations with leading universities and organizations for standardization. There are three laboratories under the EMC China Lab with a respective focus on big data, cloud infrastructure design, and cloud platform and applications. 50 researchers and engineers form the core team. The cloud platform and applications lab are seeking talents to join and expand the team.

Responsibility
? Identify project opportunity, define solution architecture, and design software implementation
? Follow common adopted agile development process and improve it by proactive practices; Participates in the full lifecycle Proof-of-Concept project design and implementation
? Collaborate with oversea senior technologists and architects in CTO office or business units
? Works within a team to quickly deliver high-quality software solutions

Requirements
? Experience with some or all of the following technical areas:
? IaaS, PaaS, SaaS enablement
? Cloud-based Management Service
? Information Intelligence, by Data Collecting, Cleaning and Visualization
? Integrated Solution, like Policy-based Management, Compliance and Governance
? Proficient in Java and SpringSource; Knowledge on Python/Ruby is a plus
? Knowledge of XML is required; Hands-on experience on RabbitMQ/BPM is a plus
? Any knowledge of the following technologies will be beneficial but not essential: Hadoop/Redis/SQLFire/GemFire/Postgres/GreenPlum
? Strong working knowledge of web services development, SOAP and REST; Familiar with web development, like CSS, JavaScript and HTML5 is a plus.
? Proven work on Publication or Patent is a huge plus
? A quick learner and an innovator; Being a bit of a geek is a plus
? Good communication skills of both verbally and writing using Chinese and English language, as well as to be able to drive conversation with oversea peers
? 3+ years of professional software architecture and development experience
