Summary/Scope Of Position

The primary responsibility of this position is to provide payroll services to employees, managers, HR and Finance departments in China, Australia and Japan in an outsourced payroll model. These services include, but are not limited to, timely and accurate payroll data collection, consolidation and delivery of data to external payroll vendors, payroll processing and controls, responses to queries from employees, managers. The Payroll Specialist will take part in payroll related projects as and when required and will be responsible for completion of ad hoc tasks related to the payroll process or payroll projects. This position requires work with various systems and other data sources.
Key Responsibilities

? Timely collect, maintain and consolidate payroll data
? Deliver payroll data to an external payroll vendor
? Reconcile payroll output received from external payroll vendors with internal data sources and manual change requests
? Monitor and ensure timely and accurate service delivery by the payroll providers, and compliant with local regulations
? Prepare payroll reports
? Manage databases, ensure data integrity between the systems
? Cooperate with external payroll vendor at operational level to timely and accurately deliver payroll to employees
? Effectively solve performance issues related to outsourced payroll services delivered by external payroll providers
? Reply to employees’ queries regarding payroll
? Monitor deadlines defined by work regulations and labor law
? Take part in payroll related projects

Requirements

? Bachelor (or above) degree and minimum of 2 years of payroll experience are required with preference to experience in corporations operating globally
? Payroll system knowledge will be an advantage
? Familiar with MS Office (especially Excel)
? Proven proficiency in English
? Analytical skills and strong attention to details
? Ability to work under pressure of time and as a member of a team
