Main Tasks
- Provide Technical Service to Asian Base Stocks and Metalworking business (Coordinate lab work, closely communicate both with internal sales force and major customers)
- Liaise with global Technical Marketing on major regional technical service projects
- Support the region during new product launches (verify value propositions in local formulation types) in ex-change with global product development
- Provide plant support during new product introduction of ester or surfactants in local Asian plants
- In close exchange with regional product management approve new raw materials for the Asian ester base stock production in order to optimize cost and supply security backgrounds
- Support local Product Management with technical backgrounds for Master Data topics
- Liaise with global technical marketing and global product management for the registration of new base stocks and surfactants in Asia

Minimum Education and Qualification Required for the Position
- BS or above in Chemistry or close related disciplines; advanced degree is preferred.
- Chemist with profound knowledge in lubricants, with more than 5 years job experience
- Demonstrated strong analytical, strategic, organizational, reporting, and communication skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with the technical/engineering/sales community
- Ability to work independently, showing entrepreneurial drive
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Ability to work effectively in an international team environment
