MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Production Excellence
? Implementing production excellence tools and driving production excellence initiatives
? Establish Lean production and utilize Kanban concept
? Give guidance to the local production excellence units
? Advice regional management in all topics of production excellence related issues
? Being the driver and coordinator for the Complexity Management approach (CoMaP)
? Deriving improvement measures from KPI monitoring and implementing projects and initiatives
? Support the bridging the gap approach without major investment in all countries by running debottlenecking initiatives
? Steer guide and align the Production Excellence activities of the different sites
? Optimizing the plant organization by implementing BASF Coatings Best Practices (SAP & people organization)
? Support tolling activities with expertise in special cases
? Coordinate the process optimization projects supported by BCD
2. Performance Management
? Monitoring and supporting all production improvement activities
? Coordinate & monitor SCAN saving activities to achieve 1.5% reduction based on manufacturing costs
? Manage the regional demand figures and monitor the development
? Manage the A-ECA capacity overview based on layers
? Establishing a set of KPI's to monitor the essential parameters of the production process
? Report the status of ongoing projects and initiatives on a regular basis
3. People & Organization Management
? Establish a Production Excellence Community in A-ECA and develop local production excellence competence
? Being the contact partner for the EC Production Excellence team and coordinate support from BASF Coatings and BASF
? Develop local process expertise to localize the process support for production

REQUIREMENTS:
1. Education:
- Master in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- Good English capabilities verbally and in writing
- Excellent Chinese capabilities verbally and in writing
2. Experience:
- Experience in production Excellence activities (chemical production)
- > 5 years
