Main Tasks
Technical
Assist/advise in trial planning, execution and documentation for the defined product line(s)
Share experiences within the region and provide global insight in new applications/products
Build network (internal & external) for application & product line know how (according to defined responsibility):
? Support the management of the product portfolio, brand positioning & services to achieve profitability targets
? Gather competitor intelligence & feedback conclusions country/regional team
? Assist in the definition of product development needs based on market needs & requirements
? Introduce new products/applications to the market.
? Train local technical people.
? Provide input for budgets & needed capital investments
Sales support in defined countries
? Train local sales and provide technical input at customers that satisfies their needs
? Provide technical advice & solutions on product application/technology to customers
? Support business development by generating interest in BASF products
? Establish relationship to mid/high level management (production & technical) at defined target customers

Job Specification and Minimum Qualification
Education Minimum degree in Chemistry or Chemistry based subject
Working Experience 10 years Paper industry experience (technical sales or technical manager)
Technical and Professional Knowledge Excellent understanding of Wet end paper chemistry.
Other Qualifications and Requirement (Soft Skills required)
Excellent communication & presentation skills.
Good team player
Good networking ability
Ability to work remotely
Self-motivated
