? Primary mission is industrial process engineering for "PLASTIC" manufacturing of our COMMUNICATION portfolio
? Secondary Mission over Mechanical stampings
   Product Design For Excellence (DFlowest Cost, DFreuse, DFmanufacturing), DFquality) of plastics and metal stampings
   Management of ALE specific tools (molds, metal tooling)
   Qualification/Acceptance of tools and processes implemented within 2 tier suppliers and EMS
   NPI management of product bringing up batches (Prototypes, Betas, Pilots)
   Approval of Supplier maintenance plans
   Quality of the materials produced from tools and processes during all the Product Life Cycle
   Development of Capital Expenditure costs on annual basis

Responsibilities:
NPI of new COMMUNICATION products:
- eOPS Leader to PROGRAM TEAM for Design for Cost and Design For Manufacturing INPUT during early stage of product development
- Definition of tooling strategy and budget
- Oversight of Strategy for Development of tooling with selected 2 tiers partners that leads to lowest NRE, highest reuse, lowest CPU
- Design For Assembly engineering with EMS partners to set-up LEAN assembly processes (Plastics)
- Review of supplier FMEAs reports
- Qualification Approval of plastic parts, tools and processes
- Monitoring of pilot and ramp-up performance
- Metier expert in molding to educate ALE RD on state of art driving savings

SUSTAIN performance & capacity of tooling and processes after Technical Release ( DR4 ) :
- Technical support for plastic abnormalities
- Challenge suppliers on corrective actions when poor manufacturing yields or DOA claims
- Review monthly with Supply Chain tooling capacity based on forecasts and EMS production plan
- Sponsor corrective actions when poor FPY, DOA, …quality results
- Monitor tooling updates when product or process changes (Engineering Change Orders) and coordinate phase-in with project and supply chain
- Manage ALE consigned tools (inventory, supplier maintenance plan, refresh, ...)
- Technical support of manufacturing transfer programs
- Sponsor LEAN mindset and efforts at suppliers
- Participate to supplier audits when needed by Quality or Purchasing

Accountabilities:
- Is Product manufacturable
- Does manufacturing process yield 99% FPY
- Are manufacturing tools and processes capable to yield repeatable results
- Are we at the lowest total cost
- Is installed capacity aligned with Supply Chain demand

Specific Skills:
Required technical competencies:
- Intimate Process Engineering experiences in manufacturing of plastics
- Knowledge and experience in Mold making for plastics
- Pro-Engineer CAD
- "desirable" - process experience in metal stamping

Experience in :
- 7 years experience in mechanical product design of consummer products
- LEAN design or manufacturing knowledge is appreciated
Other Skills :
- Fluent English spoken and written
- Capability to communicate and negotiate technical projects in international environment 举报 分享
