Carbon Fiber Manufacturing Engineer

The branch DNK Air as part of the company Shanghai DNK New Materials Technology & co., Ltd is developing, manufacturing and selling aircraft composite structures for their worldwide customers. Currently we are looking for a Carbon Fiber Manufacturing Engineer that is joining our team and that can check customer requirements and provide a suitable manufacturing process that fulfills the industrial requirements. This special position will report directly to the GM of DNK Air and provides opportunities to grow.

The job is located at our plant in Shanghai-Qingpu.

Job Description
? Manufacturing of carbon fiber product samples and serial products according to the manufacturing process and customer’s specifications. The composite assembly may involve metal bond, sheet metal details, other metallic or carbon fiber riveting and threaded fasteners
? First article inspection and management of configuration changes
? Define an optimal manufacturing process for DNK Air
? Identify design and engineering problems, provide recommendations and initiate corrective action to ensure parts are in line with quality standards and production requirements
? Provide continuous process improvement through the revision of work instructions, statistical process control (SPC) and exchange within our network of specialists
? Create accurate and controlled files and specifications
? Provide technical information and support to company suppliers and customers
? Support in organization of the test lab and conduction of tests
? Coordinate and train manufacturing staff
? Support further business development

Job Requirements
? Strong knowledge of carbon fiber materials
? Manufacturing and assembly experience with carbon fiber PREPREG and sandwich structures
? Experience in the aeronautics industry and the industrial quality standards such as ISO AS9100 and regulations coming from FAA, EASA, CASA
? Experience in setting up and improving manufacturing, testing equipment and fixtures with a “hands-on” mentality
? Professional English and Chinese language skills
? Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities
