Position Duties:.

We are seeking a high-potential Data Analyst / Scientist to assist in all phases of model development, optimization, and deployment for application in support of global Ford Smart Mobility business units. The analyst would have a great deal of autonomy in conducting research and selecting desired modeling methodologies. This position is more focus on mobility service study and analytic

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Conduct relevant study and analytic on mobility service, such as periodic operation from technic and business viewpoints.
• Support mobility business study in advance phases from data analytic perspective.
• Develop the analytic frameworks to report, evaluate real world operation, improve and guide business decisions.
• Build and deploy analytical tools and modules related to quantitative mobility solutions.
• Maintain and enhance previously developed tools, models and modules.
• Work with various data sources and platforms (PC, Hadoop, …) to gather data.
• Execute both descriptive and inferential ad hoc requests in a timely manner.
• Communicate and present models to business customers and executives.

Location: Lujiazui, Shanghai

Minimum Requirements:

• Knowledge and experience on coding and modeling, big data analytics, visualization, web application, mobile app development.
• Skills and experience on R, Python, Spark, JavaScript or any equivalent.
• Skills and experience on data visualization tools, such as Tableau, QlikView and so on.
• Skills and experience on programming languages, such as Java, C#, Matlab.
• Ability to create and manipulate pivot tables and graphs.
• Ability to translate complex quantitative methods into easily understood results for all levels of business customers.
• Ability to handle multiple projects within a given timeframe.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Master’s degree (985/211 universities) with working experience (1 to 3 years).
• Majored in Statistics.
• Computer Science, EE, Economics, or other quantitative finance, is fine too.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Ph.D, or overseas working experience, or more years of working experience is a plus.
• Demonstrated skills in large scale data manipulation and mining, pattern recognition.
• Experience with parallel / grid computing is a plus.
• Auto OEM background.
• Familiar with local auto and mobility market.
• English and Mandarin.
