Primary Responsibilities:

? Lead the strategic vision and tactical approach for the Pricing and Revenue Management areas to drive revenue and profits of Merchandise and F&B for the site.
? Effectively identify merchandise sales opportunities from mass quantities of data, perform data mining and extracting the key transactional and behavioral trends, propose practical business solutions, lead the development of the following revenue management and analytic models to support the business decision of Merchandise and Food & Beverage. These models include
? Revenue Management Model
? Pricing Elasticity
? Location Planning Strategy
? Demand Analysis
? Revenue Forecast Model
? Pro-forma Analysis and Post-Mortem Evaluation for Merchandise and Food & Beverage promotions.
? Participate in planning and developing merchandise and F&B products, programs and promotions for attracting and retaining theme park guests, based on short and long term analysis of market conditions and visitation patterns.
? Implement guest centric revenue management to increase and maintain guests’ satisfaction while optimizing merchandise and F&B revenues.
? Utilize his or her market knowledge to determine merchandise and F&B prices.
? Effectively coordinate the budget and strategic plan process for the theme park and the two themed hotels merchandise and F&B revenue to ensure it is complete, accurate and justifiable.
? Understand and effectively utilize computerized operational systems. Implement and update IT systems as needed.
? Manage efficiency and accuracy of analytical tool i.e. SAS, PMS, etc.
? Develop new merchandise and F&B product sales and packages initiatives to drive profitable park visitations and maximize F&B revenue.
? Ability to develop statistical modelling to drive strong analytics based decision making as well as be able to articulate these via written documents and presentations to senior management at Shanghai Disney Resort.
? Initiate new projects and studies that have the potential to drive incremental per cap, present to key decision makers and be able to justify return on investment for these projects (pro-forma analysis).

? In addition, he/she is responsible for coordinating financial plans (five-year plan, annual operating plan, etc), being a key partner with Merchandise and Food & Beverage leadership teams, and creating senior management presentations. The role also entails direct leadership of a team of Revenue Management and Analytic professionals, including training and development of new and junior team members.

Required Qualifications
? MBA or other Master’s degree with 7-10 years’ work experience in related field, preferably in the hospitality and entertainment industry.
? Demonstrate strong sense of local market knowledge in the area of executing F&B and merchandise business activities in China.
? Solid business acumen and industry knowledge in-park spending behavior.
? Be capable of logical thinking.
? Work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment.
? Possess exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to communicate findings and other data clearly and efficiently to Executives and diverse audiences.
? Possess excellent leadership capabilities and charisma skills to influence, inspire and motivate key stakeholders and employees around a single vision.
? Be meticulous, able to handle multiple tasks efficiently and in an organized way.
? Work collaboratively and communicate with senior management team.
? Excellent quantitative and analytical skills with substantial hands-on experience in conducting sophisticated business analysis.
? Advanced proficiency in quantitative analysis and business modeling.
? Demonstrate strong sense of responsibility and the ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities and perform job responsibilities accurately with minimal supervision.
? Demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy.
? Proven capability to learn new tools for continuous improvement.
? Analytical, business/product development, or revenue management and pricing experience.
? Ability to lead, manage, and develop professional talent.
? Top academic achievement with major in a business-related field.
? Problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
? Refined written and verbal communication skills.
? Demonstrate partnering, relationship-building, influencing, and communication skills up and down the organizational structure to convey key elements in a concise and positive manner.
? Self starter and ability to deal with ambiguity.

? Strong computer skills (e.g. Galaxy, Opera, Vision, IDeaS, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), with knowledge of statistical systems (e.g. SAS) and software with the ability to quickly learn and apply new skills and techniques.
? Fluent in spoken and written Chinese and English.
