The SAP Consultant

Be responsible for providing support to a global SAP/R3 roll out team in regards to the work stream plan to production. The support provided include process analysis, customizing, configuration, training and post go live support.

Post go live support is done from 2 central locations in Asia.

Key duties and responsibilities

- Support of key and end users for questions about the specific SAP work stream within the regional support center

- Act as a regional bridge for questions which require assistance from other departments located in other regions.

- Part of an international SAP roll out team, providing consulting services in the specific SAP work stream. Analyzing and defining requirements

- Analyze and assist for technology projects upgrades/new standard solutions

- Maintaining and promoting of harmonized processes and solutions

- To ensure overall operational availability of SAP and user satisfaction

- Certain amount of travel (Europe/APAC) will be required 15-30%

Required Education, Experience and Skill

- Minimum of a BS or BA degree is required

- At least 3 years of relevant experience as an IT business consultant or part of a SAP support organization

- Participation in one full cycle of a SAP project (project implementation until post go-live)
Experiences with setup of production systems inclusive of MRP

- Fluent in English & Chinese (mandarin)

- Excellent communication and training skills

- Good analytical skills and able to work independently

- Customer-oriented behavior

- Good knowledge on areas of production master data, materials planning, production control any other SAP experience is considered a plus

- Know how on repetitive manufacturing, APICS are highly regarded

- Know how on ABAP/4 and query report write or painting are considered a plus
