JOB DESCRIPTION

FRENCH PEOPLE DESIGN IS LOOKING FOR AN EXPERIENCED GARMENTS' DESIGNER TO JOIN OUR SHANGHAI TEAM!

- Report directly to the head of design
- Missioned on several customer's and Private Label Collections
- Ensure that clients design needs are achieved
- Creation of product technical specifications sheets and fabric charts
- Design of badges, illustrations, logos, creation of prints

JOB REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS REQUIRED

- Diploma or university degree holder in Apparel Design or a trlated field is compulsory
- Must have excellent verbal and written English skills with outgoing, extroverted personality
- Minimum of 5 years desiigning experience in apparel industry
- Established fashion graphic and print skills. Stronger preference given to those with experience in Men's garments within parkas, coats, downwear, jackets categories
- High proficiency in Photoshiop, Adobe illustrator (CAD) and pack office
- Ability to draw quickly to a high standard and to interpret designs and sketches
- Appreciation of details, shapes, proportions and size
- Understanding of garment construction, different textile materials and their properties
- Entreprenneurial mid-set, hands and trustful
- Outstanding execution ability with proven determination and perseverance in reaching golas. A never give up attitude.
- Hardworking, artistic, enthusiastic individual
- Extremely organized, open minded, team player and strong attention to details
- Rich and strong knowledge of complete apparel product development process
