DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Job Description

The Mechanical Staff Engineer (FEA) will be based in Shanghai. Flex’s
R&D team is seeking an experienced engineer who will undertaking
mechanical design and development for next generation AR/VR products.
You will perform working on the full cycle of product development
required to bring the product successfully to market.



Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do…

* Finite Element Analysis (FEA) simulation

* Product internal layout and PCBA stacking design based on PRD

* Product mechanical design and development



Here is some of what you’ll need
(required)…

* Proficient in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) simulation

* Proficient in product mechanical design and development

* Familiar with various materials and processes (plastics, double
injection molding, rubber, stamped metal, cast metal, textile, etc.)

* Knowledge of product mechanical development process

* Master/above degree on Mechanical Engineering or related area

* Skilled with 3D software tools (like CREO)

* Skilled with FEA simulation software tools (like ANSYS or similar)

* Good command of read & write English, worked in English
environment



Here are a few of our preferred
experiences…

* 5+ years mechanical design and development experience on consumer
electronic products

* 3+ projects FEA experience

* Experience with high density, size constrained, battery operated
systems including displays, cameras, wireless, audio components

* Preferably motor drive design experience
