VGS (Shanghai) - Art Specialist - Environments 场景美术设计师
Location: Shanghai
Visceral Games is the new home for Action game development across all of Electronic Arts. Visceral is focused on developing the next generation of action games with state-of-the-art technology, visuals, and audio that provide deep immersive gaming experiences.
Working in a collaborative environment, the Shanghai, Redwood Shores, Montreal, Los Angeles, and Melbourne studios make up the Visceral Games group. Visceral Games Shanghai provides integrated development support, specializing in art production. The studio has worked with other Visceral Game studios in co-developing top titles like Dead Space, Dead Space 2, Dante's Inferno, a number of as yet unannounced titles.
Visceral Games Shanghai is seeking an exceptionally creative, highly motivated individual, with tremendous communication skills to become a designer & level builder for Visceral Games Shanghai studio.
Requirements:
-Expert low and high polygon, modeling and texturing skills primarily focused on environment specialization
-Ability to create realistic and stylized environment art from concept
-Excellent understanding of scale, proportion, and dimensions
-Excellent understanding of environment layout, visual form, and architectural principles
-Expert experience with mesh/UV mapping and multiple-pass texture layout
-Expert in Maya, Photoshop, Zbrush or Mudbox
-Expert digital painting and texturing skills
-Excellent conceptual, illustration and design skills
-2-4 years+ in games production or related field
-Environment work on at least one next gen title
-Strong problem solving skills and the ability to produce with minimal supervision
-Ability to communicate clearly and produce workflow documentation
-Ability to troubleshoot and Quality Control work
-Previous knowledge of game pipelines and production processes
-Previous experience with Asset Control tools, such as Perforce and Devtrack
-Detail oriented, organized and able to meet project requirements
