Main Responsibilities:
Individual Accountabilities:
Strategic / external communication:
-Develops sales strategies to satisfy business plan objectives, be keen & sharp on category trends & clients’ business transformation, as well as to maximize sales opportunities via an account plan;
- Provides clients with general and specific information on product concepts; submission documents and presentations.
- Efficient project management to deliver high win rate
- Risk management to minimize the impact
Operational:
- Ensure open communications with marketing & technical department so that customer requirements are appropriately communicated and satisfied; Ensure transparent and effective communication for solutions across different departments, e.g. customer care, supply chain, quality and etc.
- Keep abreast of competitive activities, prices and new business opportunities;
- Issue comprehensive action reports as per clients briefs;
- Defines appropriate GM & PM according to pricing tool directives.
Key Shared Accountabilities:
With Project Coordinator or Commercial Assistant:
- Make sure that all process are in place and working at their best efficiency.
With development team:
- Portfolio Flavor strategy (winning flavors).
Shared with Commercial hierarchy:
- Builds client intimacy via constructive relationship with key customers.
With sales / commercial / regional director:
- Price/Commercial account decisions.
With Finance department:
Monitors AR in close relationship.
With SC :
- Service level agreement with key client for good relationship with the client;
- Makes sure that Safety and Regulatory (PRSA) is applied without compromise on any/all client submissions;
- Manages client complains and deliveries issues.
With Marketing, Technical, Development, Flavorist teams:
- Ensure good knowledge of the industry and do not miss any opportunities.
Shared with enablers:
- Work with legal, corporate compliance etc. on corporate agreements , standards and policies e.g. contractual agreements
Requirements:
Mandatory:
? Minimum 5 year experience with measurable track records in flavor industry or food science field as strong sales account manager
? Integrity, passionate & desire for customer intimacy building
? Strong project management skills
? The candidate must demonstrate an ability to work in virtual network and get things done without line management authority.
? Solid experience in managing project across the value chain (Service level agreements, supply chain projects)
?
Optional:
? Technical background in food science and / or economics but with food science experience
