Position Title: Sanity ware AD (Advanced Development) Engineer of New Technology Innovation

Role and Responsibilities

As a key member of LIXIL International Design Centre engineering team, you will be responsible for design and development of new leading technology, to improve & enhance sanity ware category competitive competency, its primary responsibility for:

? Marketing survey & Customer Voice to identify any potential technology needs

? Competitors products benchmark to dig out improved technology requirement

? Leading ceramic platform advanced development

? Define advanced development process, with cross function involvement

? Build up & Rolling change technical 5 years roadmap, link with marketing PM to finalize the future related NPD roadmap

? Work internally & externally to develop the specified technology, from idea generation to final working prototype.

? Work with NPD team to apply the technology into real product

? Leverage new technologies and new material / platform application from Japan/Euro. And USA Engineering team

? Design to Cost, provide competitive cost solution

? Driving technology & platform standardization & synergy in region/global level

Requirements and/or Advantages

? Bachelor Degree major in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Design Engineering

? Strong communication skills & English skill

? Knowledgeable in AutoCAD, Pro-E

? Drive projects aggressively

? Working with passion

? Well understand Asia VC product marketing trend and needs, vs. key competitor

? Well understand VC components industry norms/standards, like tank trims, seat, rubber, plastic part, finishes etc…

? Be familiar with NPD&MFG process

? With at least 6~8 years in experience in engineering development

? Well project management skill

? Anti-pressure with overtime and work loading
