KOMPAN have been operating in China for over 10 years with a team of sales, procurement, and playground designers. At present, the sales team is focused on generating sales leads and supporting sales via distributors. To meet China’s growing investment in Housing sector and quickly expand their distributor network to cover the market effectively, KOMPAN China is now looking for a strong individual as Sales Manager focus on the Segment Housing to help achieve a high growth profile in China:

Sales Manager – Segment Housing
Location: Shanghai
Reporting directly to: General Manager, China

Short description: Develop housing segment through agreements with key developers including our solutions in relevant projects in China.

Responsibilities and Tasks:
?Develop and implement sales and marketing initiatives in Housing market segment;
---Formulate activity plans for assigned segment
---Participate in relevant industry trade fairs/shows
---Evaluate and align segment strategies with internal and external market development
?Responsible for sales and business development in Housing segment;
---Established the routine business connection with major national property developers to identify the business opportunities
---Identify and established the connection with famous outdoor architecture firms in real estate sector to spot and nurture the potential sales leads
---Develop business relations with key customers in cooperation with distributors for housing segment
---Act as segment expert to participate the project and tender together with assigned distributor and regional manager
---Expand the business in existing cities and explore the opportunities in new cities
?Establish KOMPAN distribution network and develop KOMPAN distributors;
---Identify and recruit dedicated distributors together with regional sales manager to establish nationwide distribution network in the housing segment
---Conduct training, sharing and coaching to the distributor and team when needed
?Improve budget and sales forecast processes;
?Report to and spare with China GM about sales and other relevant development on the market;
---Monthly follow-up meeting about budget and planned activities
---Monthly update on regional pipeline
---Quarterly report on the implementation of the annual sales and marketing plan
---Project management for strategic initiatives for the China sales group
?Provide information on market developing trends, changes in requirements, competitors and customer feedbacks, as well as recommend action and take actions regarding these matters;
?Ensure that segment goals are met, including total sales review, order in-take, profits and realize growth potential in segment.

Desired Skills and Experience:
?An education at bachelor level would be preferred;
?Good read and written English skills, fluent verbal English is must;
?5-8 years or above project sales experience in housing channel with success track record;
?Working experience with the distributor recruitment and development;
?Experience with direct sales would be an advantage;
?Strong project sales experience in housing channel, especially the sales experience to the HQ of national developers;
?Wide and strong social network with potential customers from previous works is preferred;
?Previous experience from MNC would be an advantage;
?Good understanding of procurement and decision making process in housing segment
?Preferably experience with training people and acting as instructor - or be willing to develop these skills;
?Proficient Microsoft Office user.
