PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
- Produce accurate technical drawings and documentation for all company manufactured products and non Sperry equipment (OEM), covering customer specific drawings for IBS and Sperry Navigation Equipment (VisionMaster, Gyro Steering, etc.).
- Working together with Applications engineers and Project Management on the drawing and design of integrated navigational systems for various vessels.
- These drawings include system overview, interconnection and detailed wiring diagrams throughout the project from preliminary approval to as fitted delivery.
- There will also be requirements to draw mechanical outline drawings and occasionally antenna arrangements and bridge layouts.
KEY ACCOUNTABLILTES:
- Produce accurate technical drawings and documentation (under supervision of Applications)
- Support and contribute further CAD operation related initiatives for improvement under management supervision
- Teamwork

- To create and communicate process for any duty for which job holder is Primary ensuring involvement from all Key Contributors
- To be aware of and comply with Company Standards of Conduct and all relevant statutory requirements
- To carry out any other reasonable management request
TECHNICAL/JOB SPECIFIC SKILLS :
- Understanding and in-depth knowledge required for efficient use of computer-aided design CAD (AutoCAD standard)
- AutoCAD knowledge and the use of Xrefs
- Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- English speaking
- University Education in Marine Electronics or Electrical Engineering is preferred
- 1 year working experience in Marine industry is preferred
- Experience with AutoCAD Electrical
- Good interpersonal communication and collaboration skill
- Able to work in a multinational team within a Matrix org system
- Attend to details and able to work under time pressure
